¾ cup granulated sugar
½ cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 egg white
1 pound walnuts
Preheat the oven to 350° and line a baking sheet with parchment
paper. In a small bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown
sugar and salt.
In a small bowl, beat the egg white until frothy.
Place the walnuts in a large bowl and pour over the egg white;
stir to coat evenly. Sprinkle over the sugar mixture; stir to coat
evenly. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Remove from
the oven and separate the walnuts, if desired, once cooled.
